DIGITAL MANUFACTURING COMMONS (DMC) FOR EDUCATION: WEBINAR AND USER GROUP MEETING
April 21, 2017
Please join us on Friday, April 21 for a webinar focused on academic applications of the DMC, and a brief user group meeting.
Who should attend?
This webinar is for mechanical and systems engineering educators and students, as well as everyday users of the DMC platform interested in learning about its different applications.
What can I expect?
The first hour of our webinar will be an in-depth discussion on leveraging the DMC toolchain in applied learning activities. The discussion will feature Dr. Binil Starly from North Carolina State University. Dr. Starly will walk through how he integrated the DMC into his course on the Foundations of Smart Manufacturing, and provide resources and advice to others looking to do the same.
The final half hour of our session will be a brief user group meeting during which we’ll walk through recent updates and changes to the DMC platform, answer any questions you have, and solicit your feedback.
**Feel free to attend both portions of the meeting, or just the portion most relevant to you. All participants should be verified users of the DMC. For questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
