Launched in 2014, UI LABS provides advanced R&D resources in the manufacturing space through its Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII). UI LABS also launched City Digital in 2015, which uses Chicago as a testbed for new urban infrastructure technologies.
