Director of Manufacturing Cybersecurity, DMDII | Chief Information Security Officer, UI LABS
As Director of Manufacturing Cybersecurity for DMDII and Chief Information Security Officer for UI LABS, Koushik promotes cybersecurity throughout the manufacturing industry and helps to secure the organization from cyber threats. Koushik leads the National Center for Cybersecurity in Manufacturing at DMDII.
Prior to UI LABS, Koushik was Director of Risk and Compliance at Uptake Technologies working with Industrial IoT. He led a number of data privacy, risk, and information security compliance initiatives in addition to helping secure newly procured technology. While at Uptake, Koushik led a team to re-architect and mature their identity and access management tool suite. Before Uptake, Koushik served as Managing Consultant and a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer for Trustwave Holdings. While at Trustwave, he provided guidance and assessed companies on cyber and information security throughout the globe. He also built out a compliance framework for franchise operators to quickly become compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.
Koushik has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Rose-Hulman Instititue of Technology. Koushik is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and a former Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor. In his spare time, Koushik enjoys traveling and scuba diving. His favorite dive was at the Great Blue Hole in Belize.
